Bonded (a planetary RP)

(I'll let you play the part of anyone who comes looking for them, should keep it interesting. :pop )

Sybil looked at the bag, curious she had brought it here with her. She bent down to look through some of it and noticed quite a few things that she could use in fact. Then she saw something she recognized in there, she closed the bag and readjusted herself in her seat. She picked up her beer and swirled the liquid around in it for a minute before speaking, although she didn't look at Adele when she did. "So you went back to Razad stall didn't you." Although it was more statement then question.
"Huh?" Adele looked back to the cyborg. She was forming a route through familiar streets in her mind, just in case. She tipped her champagne glass back, delaying a reply as she took a long, slow swallow. But the glass was bound to run out eventually so she finally set it down and twirled it in her hand. "Yeah, I had some spare time before meeting you, so I figured why not? Real pleasant man."

Sybil set her beer down and slid her eyes Adeles way. "Yes very pleasant man. Did he survive your meeting?" She asked turning to fix her with a stare. She kept her voice and face neutral, let her sweat it out a bit first.

"He didn't survive to meet me," Adele said in a low voice. She pushed the glass away and clasped her hands in her lap. "When I passed by, on my way here, I thought I'd poke my head in. See what your man does after hours. Turns out, I wasn't the only curious one. A pair men were there already, breaking, entering, and injuring. Razad looked dead but I made the other two look the same and took the goods they stole." She met Sybil's gaze as she clenched her teeth. Felt for a knife beneath her cloak. "I didn't go intendin to kill your seller, just so you know. So don't hold me responsible for what I didn't do, otherwise you'll end up like those thieves."

Sybil gave her a dark grin, "Oh I am mostly messing with you, I could care less. I mean yes I have to find a new supplier but I don't care. You do what you want I ain't your keeper. Besides that Shady man probably deserved a whole lot worse then what he got." She said with a laugh as she elbowed Adele and picked her beer back up and took another swig.

Adele relaxed her grip on the knife, but didn't entirely release it. Sybil's laughter set her at ease that the cyborg wasn't the one to watch out for. "I'll be honest, you had me a little concerned there for a moment," she said, sighing softly with relief. The bartender came by and offered to refill her glass, but Adele just waved her away. She needed her senses clear right now. She rested her elbow on the counter as she surveyed the room; cautionary measures, she told herself. "I'll be right back," she said suddenly as she slid off her stool and headed for the door.
