Aster tensed and held onto the dragon with all her strength. She glanced to the side at the water before looking back to the captain. "We need to get off, the dragon will take us too far from shore than we can swim. We'll be stranded." She argued reasonably.

"Nay! We be too far out to swim. Too far for you. We have a chance with the dragons. I know their legends like the back of me hand. It be a slim one, but we have a chance."

Once they were a mile from the ship, the dragon slowed to a lazy drift. Water spewed out its nostrils. Another trumpet, this time from the other dragon. Captain slapped his hands over his ears.

Silence fell. So quiet you could hear the water rippling over the dragon's sides. Then a glow. Faint, blue glow coming up from the depths. The beast began to lower itself in the water until its back was completely submerged. Captain stood, water lapping at his boots, as the glow came closer. And closer until it surrounded them. The sun had begun to sink low, and on the horizon, an island appeared Captain grinned.

"Good enough plan for me. I agree with Odo, you probably are the best option for talking to the humans." Ezor said with a half smile. He pulled out about four handcuffs- electronic looking sticks that emit a weird energy-like current to wrap around the target's wrists or ankles. You could basically use it as a boomerang and still caught your target. Ezor enjoyed being prepared, it makes things less difficult. He always carried around emergency handcuffs in case the abductees are to escape or if they are in the situation they were in now. He handed two of them to Odo, "I have enough of these to capture four of the abductees if necessary, though that still leaves the four other humans that we'd probably have to capture a different way." He explained, as he finally gained back his confidence that he lost as he crashed on this foreign planet.

Solana nodded in agreement, it made sense she was the human after all. "Alright you two move out and flank the group but stay in the shadows, if they see you they will bolt. Plus I am hoping I can talk them into just coming with us. After you two leave to get into position I will head directly up to the group and get them talking. If you see my grab my whip then you know things are going south and to move in and take them." She laid out the plan for them. She wasn't sure if they would come peaceably but she had to try. She had once been in their shoes, she understood the fear. And while she certainly didn't want any to go to slave markets she knew that if they went with them they would have a lot fuller and richer chance at life.

(@Fanci Feathers Marans are you wanting to play the kids or should I just treat them like fillers and just do that myself? Just checking so that the next post I make when Solana approaches them to talk I know what to do. )

(I'll play them for now. You can use them for fillers, too. The leader is the only one I play, and he's not here.)

The kids huddled around the spot where the campfire had been, arguing on how to get it going again. It had taken a half an hour more than their attention span to get the thing started in the first place. One kid was running sticks together, another was using rocks. No one was really bothering to watch. The red-headed kid with the gun was supposed to, but he had gone off to do who knows what.

Solana waited for Ezor and Odo to head in their respective directions to flank the group before she headed out. She approached at a slow but steady pace so they would see her coming and not think she was trying to sneak up on them. She had both her weapons holstered for now, as she approached the group she didn't see the red headed boy that Erin wanted, he would be the only one armed. As she got close enough to see them well she called out to them so as not to sneak up on them.
"Hey you guys need a hand with that, its pretty cold out here." Solana called to them, working to make her voice be warm and friendly. Without the red headed boy to push them against her she felt good about her ability to get them to see reason and come with them.

(@CP Chicken and @RiverStorm So you know what is going on ;) )

The kids spun around, one falling on his butt. "Where were you this whole time? I thought they caught you!" He said.

Solana gave the boy a smile as she came closer and knelt down to begin working on their fire. No sense being cold while they talked. "I was around, besides they wouldn't catch me. Unlike you guys I was brought to that ship by request. I lived on a farm on one of their planets, the farmer could no longer keep so many humans around, I had heard of the crew and the ship knew that they were fair to the humans they brought aboard. I also knew that they didn't bring their captors to slave markets, so it seemed like a good fit." She said with a smile as she got a spark from the fire. She moved to put more kindling on it and blew until it took hold. "What about you guys, where did you all come from? We didn't get the chance to talk much on the ship, before well you know." She said as she mimicked the ship falling from the sky and exploding with a bit of a chuckle.

"Well, I came from NewJersey." Said the boy who had fallen on his butt. "My mom works at the pharmacy, an' my dad cooks an' stuff. He usually makes casseroles, though. He could burn hotdog water if he wern't careful." He said, moving closer to the Solana and the fire.

The others eyed her a little more suspiciously, but waited to say anything until the fire was going. A girl shuffled in the dirt, tossing a rock aside as she sat down. "So you're... one of them? Did they mark you or anything? What was it like?" She said.

Solana listened to the first boy story, for him she did sort of feel bad for, he had a family and a life that wasn't so bad. Most of the kids that she had known when she was taken had no life to return too. She smiled at his comment about his dad burning water and gave a quiet chuckle. When a more shy girl asked her about what it was like she turned to her to answer. She thought for a moment about whether to be 100% truthful or not.

"They didn't make me, I did wear a collar for a while when I was first sold. Mostly its not a bad life, I was an orphan, I had no family, no friends and no life, so there was no one I was leaving behind when I was taken. But I was still scared out of my mind, it didn't help that the first Alien who bought me wasn't very nice. He didn't hurt me but I was kept in poor living conditions. But the bad ones are honestly few and far between. I know more decent Aliens then I do bad ones. From there I was sold to a a farmer on Huron, she was an Alien like the big horned one on the ship. She had many humans who helped work her land, all were treated well almost like family. I had my own room, I was fed well, which by the way their food is amazing." She laughed a bit at her last comment before going more serious as she looked at the kids around the fire.

"It really is a far better life then I would have had here on Earth, even with my rough start. Here I would have homeless, had to scrap by whatever I could manage, it would be a rough life. Out there I have a purpose, a job, good food and a home, not to mention the chance to meet new people make friends. It can be a good life if you let it, plus the crew on that ship isn't too bad. They are fair when they try to match up humans to Aliens. And if you really don't want to even see what is out there." She said as she gestured out to the stars before continuing. " Then I will talk to Erin for you, see if I can get you taken back to where ever it is you come from. Of course we would have to take your memories of all of us and this, but you could go home." She finished looking at all of them. She was honest with them, she wanted them to really think about it. Plus if she suspected they were going to a place not so nice she would stop it, she wasn't going to let one of these innocent kids get sold off at a slave market.

"Oh and one of the planets has dragons, i hope to get to see that some day." She added with a more excited tone.

The boy looked down at his feet. It didn't sound better than home. At one time, it might have, but that was before he had run away.... Not that there was any home to go back to, now. But he wasn't telling them that.

The girl, however, perked up. She looked the bookish type. Quiet, but imaginative. She had had to teach herself to read. And read, she had. So much so that the librarians knew her by name, and permitted her to check out books without a card. Mostly because she would steal them otherwise. "That's amazing! Why didn't that other girl tell us that?" Then her stomach growled.
