Frosty clucked in annoyance, he liked those two humans. They fed him sunflower seeds. He glared at Solana but stayed quiet. One day he would get back at her for threatening to eat him...




Frosty watched the scene with alarm. "Did ya kill them?" he asked nervously.

"No Just stunned them" River said

"Oh," Frosty said, relieved a little. "So, what are you and Whip Girl "- he gestured toward Solana, -"gonna do with them?"

Solana bound Lara hands and removed any weapons she had on her at the time before curling her whip back up and looking at Frosty. "I have a name its Solana. And we never would have had to do any of this if you had kept your nosy little beak out of it!" She said angrily as she jabbed a finger at him. "Lets get them back to camp and see if we can just simple wipe their memories and send them on their way, that would be easiest." She added looking at River.

Both Lara and Donella carried their guns with them, in holsters at the small of their backs so it could be covered by their shirts. It was an ingrained precaution though not their first choice in defense. Both preferred to run before harming anyone.

(I would say stunned/paralyzed. that's why Solana removed her weapon before tying her hands up so that even if she did get up all she could do is run. )

Frosty puffed out his chest angrily. "You're blaming me for this mess?! They would've called somebody anyway, there's a gigantic crater in the ground!" Frosty clucked, glaring at Solana. "And I know your name, but it's funner to call you Whip Girl."

Solana exploded at that statement rounding on the rooster with a seething glare. "A crater is a whole lot easier to deal with then a TALKING ROOSTER! We can wipe memories to some extent and send them on their way but the more they see the harder it becomes to do that. I was trying to keep these girls safe here on Earth but that might not be possible now thanks to you! And if you call me that one more time I will use this whip on you and make FRIED CHICKEN!" She shouted at him in frustration, then she devolved into a sick little laugh, "Oh I like that I think I will call you Fried chicken from now on as a reminder." She glared at him before turning to River.

"Come on lets get them back to camp while we still can." She said as she walked over to Lara and poked her legs a bit to see if they would work yet. When they twitched properly she bent down and hooked her hand under her arm to help her stand.

"Alright Lara is it, I am going to help you up and walk until your fully able too. It will all come back in a matter of minutes and please do not run I don't want to do that again. Whether you choose to believe me or not I am trying to help you." Solana said to the stunned girl as she helped her up.

Lara stared at Solana when the girl came over to help her stand again. She had just had a full out conversation with the rooster, talking about wiping her memories. That was in no way endearing her to wanting to stay with these odd people. Not that she had enough control to walk in a straight line at the moment, much less run. "Don" She hoped her sister had gotten away, the moments right after getting hit by that whip thing were a bit fuzzy.

And do you really think a talking rooster is as weird as a girl with wings and another one with a stun-whip-thingy?! Parrots can talk, so is it really that big of a deal that I, a bird, said one word?" Suddenly, Frosty fell silent. Then he said sadly, in barely a whisper; "You don't know how it feels, to be so different from your own kind.... Chickens don't understand me, humans think I'm weird. There's no place in the universe for a talking chicken." He then fell silent, staring at the ground as if looking for answers. "So, I guess you... Want me to go away now?" Frosty clucked, "I don't belong among you humans anyway." And the small rooster started walking away.~

Solana looked at Lara before replying. "If that is your sister then she is fine, just stunned over there." She was going to say more when Frosty replied to her, she heard his dejected little voice and instantly felt bad for how she treated him. She turned towards him taking Lara with her.

"Frosty wait, look I am sorry, even in this situation that was uncalled for and I am not proud of it. You are probably right in this case a talking rooster is just one more thing that was out of place. And your right I don't know what it is like for you, so I shouldn't judge. But I do know that I was just so heated because I didn't want to have to take these girls. I was taken as a child from here, I lived a horrible life as a slave, I know what the worst kind of treatment is, so I know how it can be. Yes I still choose to live out there among the stars because my life now is better then that, and I wouldn't, don't have a life here anymore. So I guess in a way I kind of get it, most normal humans wouldn't understand why I choose this life after what I have endured. I am sorry Frosty, if you still want to go that's fine, but don't leave because I was a jerk." Solana tried to convey to him that she was truly sorry, because she was. She treated him much they way she had been treated before and she felt sick knowing she had that in her. She hoped he could find it in his tiny chicken heart to forgive her.
