Ezor looked up from the controls, grateful to see both Erin and River were okay. But then winced at the sight of the dead Huron. "Erin, they'll know I'm not human." He protested, but after realizing there was no changing Erin's mind he spoke again, "Okay, nevermind, I'll go. But I have to trust you two have my back." He looked at both of them.Erin jerked her head up. The boy. The gun. That boy did this. She took one last look at Patches, picked up one of his scales from the rubble, and vowed she would avenge him.
At once, she pulled the neuralizer out of her pocket. "There's no way to seal it. We have to go. Ezor, I'm afraid you're going to come with us. We can't let them get away." She strode fro the door.
That boy. She focused on committing his face to memory. A scowl grew on her face, her eyes red from the tears.
