Star broke into a trot, making sure to keep River by her side. She wanted to make absolutely sure that she didn't speak her name again. She lead them to a patch of boulders, thick with mesquite grass and patches of cacti. After being pinned by River, she knew that she could navigate it. Star lifted off, hovering just above the ground. She didn't dare fly higher for fear that River might call her back.

Star glanced back at her. They were almost out of earshot of the cameras, but not quite. She landed, trotting faster. "Come on!" She hissed. A cactus dug into her shin, but she kept going.

They wove around rock after rock until the reporter's shouts faded, and then some. She wanted to make sure one of the parasites weren't coming in silent.

She finally slowed to a halt, "Okay, look." She fixed River in a fierce stare, "I don't know who you are, and I don't wanna know. That was close. People could have been hurt. People may already be hurt for that matter. If you are from up there," she waved at the sky, still holding her shoulder, "that means you could be harboring illness. Do you realize that one new infectious disease could wipe out the entire population?"

Ezor nodded, "Indeed. We had no intentions on being stuck on your planet. One of the abductees shot our controls, though that probably wasn't on accident." He explained carefully, considering the idea of working together. She seemed pretty trustworthy and they'll need help from someone who knows there way around here.
