Erin finally had camp cleaned up, still rather perturbed that no one had helped. But when Dorian walked up, she nearly dropped it all. A Melæian dragon? On Earth? How had they not been exposed already? But that question answered itself as the beast shrank down to the size of a cat. She glanced back up at the recon ship as it neared. "Yes, of course. I'm sorry I didn't pick you guys up on our earlier trips. We gather humans about every day... I guess we were both hiding, though." She smiled for the first time in what felt like forever. The dragon reminded her of Patches, in a way. "Would he take my hand off if I were to pet him?" She asked.


Ryan started at the shot. He hadn't even gone ten yards and they were already fighting? He rushed back to the group to find two bloodied figures on the ground. One the doctor he needed for the mission, and the other Nhashi. He palmed his face. "Can't I leave you alone for five minutes?" He said. Then, realizing that he was still in his adult form, he started ushering the uninjured kids into his ship. "Here, stay in here. There is nothing to see here. Come on, it's alright. Don't touch anything, though. All right, there you go." He shut the door behind them. He turned around and stared at River, who seemed to have appeared out of thin air. "Who are you? How did you get here?"

Jaxson seeing that things had calmed a bit got up and looked at River before looking at the now dead McCoy. He couldn't believe he was dead, he had been talking to him not too long ago. It was strange, he looked back and saw the two girls who had been pushed behind the rock by Solana. He figured he could do the most help there so he got up and went over to them.

"Hey I think its over, whatever that all was." He said with a small smile to the two girls.

(Since the ship is inbound and about to land on Earth I will just skip them forward. They were all on the ship already they were just going to brief and such before heading out. This will simplify things.)

Skyler watched the console in front of her as they went through the atmosphere of Earth. Everything looked good, the ship was on course, readings were all in the green. She had activated the most of their cloaking system so the satellites and such wouldn't pick up on the ship but the only thing she had forgot was the actual cloaking device that hid the ship from prying eyes. "Hey someone cloak the ship please, on that console over there." She Said to anyone who wasn't busy.

Kaaras crumbled, someone else could do that he had enough going on in the cargo hold with the frigging wolf pet that was now apparently part of the crew. "While your at it send someone to deal with this fleabag." He crumbled over the coms.

Worf cloaked the ship then went to get the he-wolf "Come." then he and the wolf walked off then after putting the wolf some were else came back "Need and help?" (Yep)

Solana seeing that Erin had this in order left them to it.

Dorian gave Erin a once over, measuring her up, she seemed competent. "Its quite alright, we were deep in hiding, had I seen your ship sooner I would have come sooner. As it is I am just happy to finally have a chance to get out of here." He replied when she mentioned his dragon he couldn't help but smile behind his mask, someone who wasn't afraid of Nemra, it made him happy that he wasn't the only one. "Where are my manners, I am Dorian and this is Nemra. And she won't bite if you pet her, she is quite friendly actually." He said as he held his arm out for Nemra to climb down.

Nemra uncoiled herself from Dorians neck and walked delicately down his arm towards Erin. She stopped on his forearm and fanned her wings a bit before settling so that Erin could pet her.

"She likes her chin to be scratched." Dorian said helpfully.

They were so confused at the kid running in and shooting the other guy and they were still fascinated by the dragon that shrank to fit on the one guy's shoulders. This was all so weird. They moved though, slowly standing up then looking to one another before looking back to Jaxson again "Um, hi" Lara said softly. There was a lot of weird going on here.

Erin grinned and scratched the little beast. It was quite cute, actually. If you liked scaly things. "Hello, Nemra." She said. Then, looking back to Dorian, she extended her hand to shake. "I am, or was, the Huronian Patches' bond. He was head of the human initiates department." She swallowed the lump in her throat, "He... didn't survive the crash."

Nemra made a little trilling hum sound from the back of her throat as Erin stroked her chin. It made Dorian smile briefly before she mentioned that she had lost her bond in the crash, that was a sad thing, to lose a friend. "She likes you, she only makes that noise when she is happy. It is a pleasure to meet you Erin, I am sorry about loosing Patches. While I have never been bonded to anything other then Nemra here I can't imagine how hard it must be to lose one. On top of all that trying to keep this group together during it all, I am sorry." He was sincere, he didn't have much in the way of friends other then his pet, but he would probably not being holding it together nearly as well as she was had he been the one to lose her.

Jaxson gave them a smile and a wave. "Hi back at ya. I am Jaxson, I uh don't remember seeing you two on the ship, were you on board when it crashed?" He asked curiously, they seemed very in awe of it all. He was too but he had had some time to take it in a bit so he was guessing they weren't from the ship.
