Bonded (a planetary RP)

Floating through the halls of the ship, Star explored. Past what she knew to be the med bay, and the loading docks where they had come in at, and on up the ship. This was the most fun she had had in eons. No responsibility, no duties, no image to uphold. Just snooping. Pretty soon she voices coming from up ahead.
She ducked behind a shelf crammed with belts, ammunition, and a muddy boot or two. No one had heard her, she was sure of that. After all, hovering didn't even allow for her clothes to rustle. But the longer she stayed there, the more she began to realize that it was a human voice. At least, it sounded like one. And it didn't sound like it was going anywhere. She crawled around the shelf, then the corner of the wall, until she spotted an open door.
An idea crept into her mind, and she grinned. This could be fun....
Touching her necklace again, she rose to the ceiling and crawled upside down until she reached the door. Slowly, quietly, she peeked in.

Dorian groaned and rubbed his face, great she didn't even know what bonding was, or heard about it yet. This was going to be harder then he thought, maybe he should just drop it? He had never needed a human before, it would have cramped his style. He looked at her, seeing how good she was with Nemra and that solidified it for him, he'd just have to explain things and take it slow and hope for the best. "Uh well, that is usually the easiest to take yet but that's not why most aliens want them around. Erin's group they captured humans for bonding with different alien species. Bonding is like, a deep friendship or its hard to explain as I have never had one. " He started looking at her curiously to see how she was absorbing this information.
Lara tilted her head, listening to him speak before nodding. "You guys take humans that don't have families to become friends with them? I could see the good in that, there's a lot of people that need friendships but because of their circumstances can't make friends with the people around them. So long as the people want to go, I don't see a problem with that." The capturing part was not as easy to go over, but how else would an alien approach a person? They looked alien, so it would cause fear to be seen even one on one.

Erin worked her way through the maze of mechanical things, sliding over this, jumping over that. Pretty soon, she was dancing. Maybe she looked like a fool, but she didn't care. It helped distract her from the goings-on in this life. And besides, there was no one to see, right?
