Currently I have a 3 day old duckling (4 by the time I finish typing this) whos a male and I want to get him a duck friend. Should I get another male or a female, Im not necessarily looking into breeding him but I would like him to be happy. Also are there any reputable places to buy duckling from? I found a site called Chicken for Backyards, any one with experience with this place? Also im not 100% sure of what type of duck he is, Ive gotten Black Swedish and Cayuga also Mallard once. Does breed matter when pairing ducks other than breeding purposes?
