Hi all,
My friend has a 4 week old Orpington that has a odd lump on her neck. It feels like vertebrae bones. Very odd. She also has blue legs, which doesn't look normal. She is not walking much, eating or drinking either. I checked it out and its not bruised, it is just protruding from her neck on the left front. I unfortunately can not include pictures seeing its not my chick. Does anyone know what it could be? Or have had a chick with this before?

Only picture I have.

Can you friend open an account and post some clear photos of the chick, the legs, her poop, etc. or give you permission to post good clear, well lit photos of the chick, the poop, etc.?

Chick standing up on it's own would be great.

What does your friend feed, including treats and how is the chick housed?

Yes, I can ask her. If not I can have her send the pictures to me then I can post. I can say that chick can't stand on her own and she is being house separate from the flock.

These are the best she could take. The chick isn't eating much or drinking.
