Yeah roosters are illegal here, I have a big yard, but with Apricot its not going to matter. the noise she was making today could be a real problem and the fact that she is really picking on my silkies is not going to work out at all. Man I would be willing to pay the 50 bucks if I could find him a good home and thought I could get him there safely. Louisiana is a long way away, Im in California. Man is everyone sure the Russian Orloff is a rooster? Im really hoping to hang onto her. I mean him.

Aww.. That's a tough one. He is really handsome and I'm sure someone would want him for their flock. I would love him! . If I have a special rooster I offer "free delivery" to be sure to check out the digs. If things don't feel right give the old... He was sneezing and coughing the entire way here I think I should just take him home as I wouldn't want to spread diseases...

We had a similar surprise this year. Fortunately none of our neighbors minded. Unfortunately our dog got him, but now she's isolated from the chickens. We just bought another rooster last weekend because we missed him so much. This time we got a Rhode Island Red. So far he's henpecked, but he has started protecting his harem, even though they still like to chase him.

What about Donald? Or Douglas??? He's a handsome guy and would have some pretty cute chicks.

By the way I renamed him Donald. What an excellent name, it fits him PERFECTLY thanks!!!

yes he has thi nice saddles coming in nicely (the feathers the arrow is pointing to) yea it is a long ways and he is a beauty. would love to have him here could throw him over my silver laced polish
