Boo Tour de France

At least they are going in a straight line, not around in circles like NASCAR. I suggest you try some other channel or is Versa the only one you get?

I woke up hoping to see a hunting show, and then i saw a bunch of guys riding bikes. I'd rather see the NASCAR race personally, I just don't the whole thing. Still too bad I didn't see my hunting show...

It's my Saturday thing.

Hmmm. I am someone and I care about the TDF.

I ride my bike whenever I can and oftentimes up some of our mountains. I've ridden with some of the local race crowd that can climb many of our mountains at 20 mph and perhaps one or 2 of them can hold a candle to the TDF riders.

mom'sfolly :

Lance Armstrong, big name around here.

7 time winner, still facing doping charges, the French seem to have a grudge.

Yep they certainly do!

I ride a bike daily if possible, ride in the Rockies, and still find TdF boring as all get out. Big deal. Yay, you ride a bike fast. I don't mind a few updates, but days and days of nothing but TdF? Boring.

NASCAR however is worth watching if only for the drama and potential for wrecks. It's a bunch of grown males whining over who pushed who in the proverbial sandbox.

I watch all pro Cycling racing, not just the TDF, and it's not boring. I don't watch versus... I watch Eurosport. I don't like Armstrong at all. My favourite rider is Alberto Contador.

Well, just like with chickens, there's a sport for everyone. I don't like baseball, bicycling or Nascar (that to me is entirely pointless) but I do like football if someone is playing I have an interest in in some way. Each to his own.

I don't watch sports on TV much anyway; don't have any type of pay TV so I watch what we can get when we can get it, which sometimes, isn't much. No sports channels, yea!
