She hatched nine babies....we just doubled our flock. YIKES!

Awwww.....they are beautiful. My buff O hatched 3 chicks 7 weeks ago. She did a wonderful job of mothering...showing them how to be a chicken and bringing them among the other chickens.

I`m thinking about replacing my chicken with all BO`S,do they all go broody?That would not be good as I sell a lot of eggs and that helps with the feed bill.Right now I have goldne comets and black sexlinks and EE`S,And they all lay regularly.If I have 20 orps what is the liklyhood of them all gong broody in the spring

they are so cute! My BO hatched out 6 2weeks ago. they are such good mamma's. I have 2 BO only one has gone broody so far. Don't know what I am going to do if all my hens go broody. It is fun but what to do withe all those babys?
