I just started Unleashed by Glennon Doyle and i haven't made it far enough to decide if i recommend or not.
My daughter is in 4th grade and we've read some really good books this year for her novel studies. Ivan the Great (not the title) <The One and Only Ivan> was phenomenal and instilled a lot of passion and emotion in my heart. Of course this is probably not something of interest to many adults. We're starting "From the mixed up files of Mrs. Basil E Frankweiler" by e.l.konigsburg this week.

Edited "The One and Only Ivan"

anyone read any books from The Time Quintet by Madeline De'engle
I've read A Wrinkle in Time.
I've read a Wrinkle in Time, but that's it.
Same.

DO NOT WATCH THE MOVIE.
(The books are always better than the movie, except for a few cases, How to Train Your Dragon being one of them.)

Name: SBFChickenGirl (Though you can call me SBF for short)
Favorite book(s): I don't have a favorite, but I loved Harry Potter, Sherlock Holmes, Murder on the Orient Express, books by Gary Paulsen, as well as Left Behind.
Current book: Apollyon (#5) in Left Behind by Jerry B Jenkins.
How I read: Physical books are my favorite but I will read online books.

Seen the movie.....it's not great. Meg did have the same shirt as me, though.

When you mentioned Murder on the Orient Express, I remembered that I really enjoyed And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie.

I generally enjoy locked door mysteries, especially of the murder variety- One of Us is Lying and A Good Girl's Guide to Murder are amazing.

Well, in comparison with the book, absolutely.
They left out Aunt Beast, made the Friendly Medium MALE(?) and somewhat creepy. The antagonist (the name evades me at the moment) was messed up. The three Mrs's were also messed up....
There was more.
The moviemakers took lots of "creative liberty". *facepalm*
