Booted bantam tripping

I have a Booted Bantam and her feathers on her feet seem to bother her because they are so long. She steps on her feathers and trips.
Can I trim them?
Will it hurt her?

Trimming would probably be a good idea, It won't hurt her, just cut off enough for her to walk comfortably and she will be good to go.
