Border Collies and Chickens?

Hi, just wanted to say "thank you" for your helpful suggestions! Tally, our new border collie, is doing wonderfully!! No problems w/ the chickens at all - her enthusiastic running around makes some of them nervous, but she isn't being aggressive w/ them. Just a few "Tally NO!"s and a couple of "LEAVE IT"s and she figured it out! YAY!

I used to have a border collie, they are very energetic, but they are used to herd sheep so I think it should be ok

i think it would be great for the both of you if you could find someone to help you train her on some basic herding skills i bet she would love it and it would help you get a handle on all that energy!
