See as coat goes border or aussie can be long coated or smooth out here allot more are smooth now my belgians where similar but named otherwise also.. I choose to not get another belgian knowing I was not as fast as I use to be not sure I could keep up but both need coat care

There are a lot of coat types in both breeds. My one current Aussie is show bred and has a very thick coat which I shave down because she gets so hot otherwise and puffs like a freight train at night. A working type Aussie like the one I lost was much lighter and manageable to me. They do shed quite a bit at times, but I can deal with that.

Bindi is so gorgeous. She's such a good girl too.

I can't be trusted when it comes to deciding on the next dog. It's such a huge decision to me. I guess I better stick with what I know. I still love all herding dogs. They are a great diverse group of dogs.
