I do as my old school vet said! He was awesome. Puppies get all full sets and boosters at a year. Then nothing till 3 years and a booster at 6 years. Zero after that unless rabies.see I saw many carcinoma from vaccine sites yes cancerous
I vaccinate when young below 6 months one more time at a year one then never again titers show immunity is strong at 18
I'm glad to see it's finally changing, and they now do titers on dogs. I never believed in all that vaccinating either. It is important to get them done on young dogs.see I saw many carcinoma from vaccine sites yes cancerous

I have a really good relationship with my vet too. I've known him since we were kids, and he used to be our cow vet before switching to dogs. He's right down the road too. I'm always asking questions, and he respects my input on my dogs and their care. That works I have a great friend in a kinda local vet here we talk the same language so we get to play wit Rabies, titers she has let me into her lab
Exactly!!!!They do not do titers on dogs routine they should but never will vaccines are their bread and butter
You do have to ask. Vaccines have been the money makers, but things are changing as people are willing to spend more on health care for their dogs these days. My vet is always full with clients. They do not do titers on dogs routine they should but never will vaccines are their bread and butter
