Yesterday I discovered a way to make a very simple boredom buster and a feeder in one.

Things You Will Require:

* A garden pot, whatever size you have, preferably with holes big enough for a chickens beak.
* A screwdriver, or something else to poke holes in the pot.
* String, or wool.
* Pellets.
* Something you can use as a lid, I used a paper plate. (On the pot.)

Instructions:

Poke a hole on one side of your garden pot, repeat in the other side.
Thread some string or wool though the holes.
Hang somewhere your chickens can get.
Fill with pellets.
Place lid on.

It may take a few days for your chickens to relise that the pot is a food giver.

One weird photo of Honey eating. And one photo of the whole setup.

Loving this idea but not sure I completely understand it... The chickens peck at the pot and food falls out?
