Shutter speeds of 1/250. plenty of light so you can still get a deep depth of field in the photo. Avoid using flash. Use a single point of focus on a target bird. The one you are trying to show off. For a group shot use a wide angle lens or the wide part of a zoom lens. Your knowledge is over half the image. The camera is part and the lens is the other part. The best equipment without some learning is worthless.
The ability of the camera/lens combo to lock a focus rapidly is also important on moving targets like moving chickens.

You're welcome!

One tip I have is the background. Make sure the background is nice and there's not too much going on. That's one of the biggest things for me.
Ok, I'm planning on also getting photos of my zebra finches in their favorite tree. I think it would look super cool!

All the knowledge in the world will not take good photos if the camera is not up to the job either. A Yugo is not a race car.

Eh, well, I'd rather she didn't fall down so many stairs since she's a friend and she was kinda struggling when it happened.
Why did a friend steal a camera? Wouldn't that Make then not a friend?
How on earth did you manage to do that?😂
I fell and hit my head so hard and with my ADHD I completely forgot 😭
