You put sugar where it doesn't not belong. I know some Americans who are really good cooks, but I've come to learn some of their dishes are best avoided. No one should be putting sugar in their pasta...

Umm, are you talking about dessert pasta or regular pasta?
I don't like sweet sauces but they at least need to be balanced. A little grated carrot usually does the trick.

My mom once put honey in the chicken piccata, I've forgiven her since then, but I still feel hurt sometimes about it, my trust is just gone.

I feel like a lot of those things are actually more recent. Like, the early 2000s were actually pretty chill, and all of a sudden we have really bad third world problems now
I just want to be worried about wether I'm going to Ireland or Sweden on my vacation, not wether I have my gun, knife, pepper spray, alarm, and keys on me so that I can walk to the mailbox
My area is really amazing tho. People around here will throw hands if they see any sort of suspicious activity. Not too long ago a white van pulled up next to me (really sus tho, not normal) and my neighbor saw it and grabbed his pistol and just came over to talk about the weather til the van moved on. There's LOTS of people like him down here.
