BOSS source?

Chickens like the whole hull...I buy mine at the local feedstore...

WalMart may be cheaper, but TSC seems to have less waste; i.e. sticks, dirt, empty hulls. Also, TSC is having a sale this weekend--$16.49/50 lbs.--$2.50 off the reg. price. March 21 and 22. Closed on Easter Sunday.

No TSC around here

I get mine @ Big Lots, there used to be a family owned feed store that had great quality @ reasonable prices on all their bird feed & they were near me. Not enough people supporting them though, so they are gone now.

First off the cheapest place I have found to buy BOSS is our local feed store. TSC is the next cheapest place.

I feed it to our chickens and to horses on occasion. It is a fabulous fat supplement for horses. Feed no more than 2.5lbs of BOSS to a horse per day. I have tons of information on BOSS and it's effects on horses and all the yada yada. If anyone would like info on how to start feeding BOSS or caloric measurements etc on it please PM me.

There is specfic ways to go about it to ensure proper digestion of the seed.


My dogs even eat the BOSS and love it!
