Bossy Chicken

My flock has started grazing the backyard full time. I still provide "bought" food to fill in any nutritional gaps, but don't bother to refill it until evening if it runs out in the morning. Apparently, that didn't meet with this girl's approval. She's standing outside the door leading from the kitchen while I was cooking dinner.

My chickens would be doing that if the house were closer to the coops.

Maybe there's not enough to eat in the yard this time of year.

My Frieisan hen is always harassing me in my garden for food, I trip over her because she is pestering me lol, and I thought they weren't meant to be a friendly breed

Yeah, I live in FL, so there's more than most have, but it's getting a bit gnawed down out there. Might start letting them out for shorter lengths, rather than all day.
