Well, if your interested and patient, i could provide you with some eggs to hatch in the spring. I have 2 buff orpington pullets but they Daddy will be a beautiful Ameraucana.
You could either try to get your silkies to sit on them or use an incubator. Its just an idea.
BTW.....I saw an ad on craigslist from wed. under western MA farm and garden for some buff orpingtons. They are 2 yrs old but you could hatch those eggs. Just thought i would mention it. If you are not as worried about the eggs, but just want the birds because you heard they were so sweet. Well there ya go.....tons of options for ya.
