we knew that , we just wanted to brin him.
what shocks me is that judge still took him out and looked him over, Usally when there is something wrong with the bird they wont even bother. Man if he had his crown ,ahhhhhh

None of mine made it in the grand, but i am glad at them circleing #1 and DQ'S or lower #

Oh chickn I passed out like 20 flyers to the swaps, sounds like a lot where very interested in them, in fact one came back looking for another flyer.

I just walked around handing them out and telling them what it was.

Got some pictures done.... Love the show but I get so wiped out

This of course is Shay's handsome boy, hope you don't mind me posting a picture of him. You know Sarah fell in love with him and that "tail".

This is Sarah with her buff silkie pullet, she got best feather leg, over some very nice cochins.

This was kind of a wierd system, they did cash prizes for the top three birds, not the class or group. So Sarah ended up getting 2nd best for her dark cornish hen. You can see by this picture it was the end of the end and they were both getting very tired.

She also got best and reserve pigeon of course her's were the only two there.

that is a really nice pic of your daughter and that pretty silkie, and yes they look exhausted in the 2nd pic, poor things

You can also tell her some of her grandchickies have hatched! We have 4 cute cute faverolle chicks and 2 silkies.

Thanks, she has had so many wonderful people help her get started and now that she is hatching her own stock they are still right there guiding her every step of the way. Let me tell ya we showed dogs for a few years and we've even shown Rabbits and Cavies, but poultry people are the best by far. Most everyone we have met have been great so helpful and willing to share information.
