Both Welsummer?

Would you say these are both Welsummers? They are both 5 months old.

They look like it. The other possibility is the second one is a partridge rock. I'm not sure how to tell the difference except for the darkness of the eggs.

They were both in a bit of Welsummers, but one is so much darker. We also ended up with some kind of production red pullet out of the Welsummer bin also, so ya never know. Thank you. None of our big girls are laying yet, but some combs are getting redder!

I've had some lighter welsummer, so if that's what they are both supposed to be than that's what I would think. You should know for sure when you start getting eggs.

They're both stunning Welsummers. Partridge Rocks sport laced plumage, and are a darker red.....almost mahogany.

Yes, they are both straight combs.
