SHAME ON ME, I learned my lesson. I bought a rooster from the local livestock auction, got him home, and he is COVERED in lice. I currently have 20 or so chickens and have NEVER had a worm or a lice. I never put him in with them, but I did have him out on the deck where I walk daily to the chickens, so I am sure they'll be eggs on my feet. I treated him with Frontline (and put and ad on craiglist for a gross chicken for freee!). Should I make a preventative strike and treat all my current chickens with Frontline? How many drops? Where? Any other suggestions??! The offender is on the other side of the house in a dog crate, and I won't let him out. I am so upset that my clean flock seems destined to get something now...
