Bought a rooster questioning his gender now

Today I bought a rooster he is supposedly a silky areucana mix new to chickens and I need to know if he is a rooster he has no spurs and just got home he is stressed and hasn’t crowed yet

Yep, cockerel. Roosters dont even get spurs until they are atleast a year old. Thats when they really START to grow them.
