bought a white orp but i dont think that is what i got

I've been hearing that as well. I find it interesting that that is what is now being said. Not that it much matters if your having the flock just for the sake of having it, but I'd be not thrilled if It popped up in my birds - esp considering how much some people are charging for lavender orpingtons - project or otherwise.

we dont care much for the lavs we have now but my daughter is ordering some f5 hatching eggs this week so we will be getting rid of the ones we have now an doing some real breeding next year with the lavs an blacks.jody has some great looking f5's go look at them on her website my daughter is so excited about working with this project
