bought thermometer, now it is on clearance, i feel like a dummy

I ordered mine with my Incu from Incubator warehouse and it's been fine. I guess. Model TH03 hygro - thermometer.

I don't know how to calibrate it and I just used it out of the box. Cost $10.

Now I did talk with Don Schrider from the ALBC and he says if you use two to take the average and go with that.

I reckon I can get another for the incubator room (office) and see how the room is for humidity.

Lock down is Tuesday. Then we'll see if there will be any silkies in this house. I've got one that is supposed to be a Porcelain color.

Not sure of the others. Came from Chapel Farm in Alabama. Check out her site. She just won something or other, out of 100 silkies at the show.

If you have a good pet store or pet supply outlet try to shop there, there is a trick however. Somewhere on the package of the thermometer itself it should say where it's made, if it say's made in CHINA try and pick one that is made somewhere else. They have better and more choices than Chinamart and then you can rest a little easier with a product you can trust to accuratley give you the info you need for your hatch to be a maxium success.

If you still have the receipt and it's been less than (??1 week? 2 weeks???) you can take the receipt back and they will refund you the difference. I have several of those thermometers and they work just fine for me.
