I grabbed a large container of sunflower nuts at the store the other day. Not until I popped a handful in my mouth did I realize I had bought the honey roasted ones by mistake. I hate sweet snacks!

Can the chickens have them? If they were plain sunflower nuts I would know, but not sure about the honey roasted part.

Personally, I'd check the label then feed them to the chickens, the quantity depending on the sodium level. But the chickens would definitely get them.

Well, I don't know, I've never had honey roasted sunflower nuts.

probably salty but in moderation or perhaps rinsed should be good..fyi you could also whirr in the food processor for a peanut butter alternative, probably not to your taste but the options there.

Thanks for the tip, but the sweetness would still be there. I just don't like sweet foods, beyond fruits.
