Bought this Poultry Block...

I bought a Poultry Block for my birds. I put in the run and they love it! Problem is, they are only eating it and not their regular feed. Am I supposed to remove it or is this ok? I have a bad back so I have to ask for help, but maybe I can put on a cart with wheels or something.

I would remove it, they shouldn't be eating it all the time.
Treats should make up no more than 10% of their diet.

You can still give it to them, just don't let them stuff themselves.

I only put out flock blocks when the chickens are restricted in movement due to things like weather, just to give them something to do. Since they're choosing to eat this instead of their feed, I would only put this out sporadically for them.

Instead of moving it, you might try covering it with something like a bucket or upside-down tote and pop something on top to hold it down.

I use flock blocks, & my birds will peck them, & eat their regular feed too. The first time I used them, they'd eat the flock block only, but they corrected themselves.
(They only get them from me in the Fall, & Winter. Occasionally I'll give them 1-2, blocks months apart during the summer.)

Put it in only on the days they are locked inside for weather or they seem bored
