I have some sassy girls in the Bourbon pen, this one was full on strutting yesterday! Another one was insisting on escape, so we tightened up the netting. 2 other ones are beggers, who yell and carry on until I give them treats.
They've been my favorite group though, really easy to be around. The tom too, he's my buddy. It's his 3rd season.
Did a routine dusting on them. The extent of effort needed for that was to walk in, and dust them, where they stood. Versus the wrestling match in the Narragansett pen that ensued.
I'm pretty sad about the white feathers coming in on her shoulder, I'll need to grow out some more and see if I can find some girls without extra white. I'm trying to keep their coloring up to snuff. Also trying to find a new line of Bourbons to add in but I haven't yet found better coloring within driving distance.
