These are our 5 Bourbon Red Poults. They are straight run. It seems to me based on size difference between some, that we have M and Female. How to tell? When to tell? What should I know about M/F in the same pen as they grow?

The smallest one above (#4 if going left to right) has a bum leg - you can see the foot is turned outward. Injured it about a week ago - not sure how as they were in an interior brooder with solid floor and sides (wire top).

They will be going into their own pen within the week, as we were advised to keep them well protected/warm until approx 6 weeks. The pen they will be placed into will have the ability to add a heat lamp and has a roof, and high ventilation (so they are not in the wind).

Too young to tell the sex from photos.

Check the one with the outward turned foot for a slipped tendon.

Beginning at 3 months old they may be able to start being sexed from photos.

We think it might be a slipped tendon, but first time with turkeys. Can this be fixed?

would better photos here help with determining the problem?
