I hatched two bourbon reds out with my chicks this year. I was sure I had one hen and one Tom. I had a raccoon attack a few weeks ago that claimed one of the turkeys. Now with one left I have nothing to compare it to and can’t tell what I have. This is a current picture at 12-13 weeks now. Thanks.

I’m sorry about the racoon, and I think it’s a Tom. I know next to nothing about turkeys, so don’t be surprised if I’m wrong, but the nose thingy is really long for that young, about the length of the adult females I see at the fair.

It looks like the adult breast feathers are coming in and they look like they do not have a light colored edge which means ... tom.

Thanks. The raccoon got one of my turkeys and three hens. It was a bad night.
