Hi,

I am not technically new, but I have never known the right place to start new threads.
So, hopefully this is right.

I am in Bowling Green, KY and would love to know of other members nearby.

I am raising Black Australorp, Comet, Cochin, Delaware, Blue Laced Red Wynandotte, Barred Rock, and a few "mutts."

I have been raising chickens for about 1 year and 1/2 and have incubated 3 times with great success. I am incubating 40 eggs now. Can't wait for the little babies to hatch!!

We also have goats and 2 cats. We will have fish this summer.

I LOVE my little backyard "farm."

48 eggs in the bator! After candeling at 4 days, only 38 look fertile. But I don't think that's too bad as I have one rooster to 22 hens! lol
