ROAD TRIP... to pick up #4!

I just love boxers. I have brindle male. He is a very good watch dog. He won't let anyone or anything in his back yard that he doesn't know. I would love to breed them one of these days.

How adorable! My brother has a flashy Fawn and white girl he has had forever. She is very protective or their yard but is a sweet girl. That enourmous tongue is always going 90 to nothing. I think Diamond will be a show stopper..Brindle with a little bit of white has always been my favorite color for boxers. What color is mom? Any pics of the Proud Moma?

You probably couldn't guess but my Katie is a brindle too. I just went in the check on her. She's snoring and having jerky doggie dreams of running. The pups are all content. After a hard night's delivery, this is priceless.

I had her a nice whelping box built outside filled with hay however a cold front came in the day before. I brought her inside last night after I saw she actually had a puppy. Remember she's four days early. So, I quickly improvised an "inside" whelping box from the kid's green turtle that was outside and closed off the hallway with kitchen table chairs and turned up the heat. I'll quit explaining why she's in a turtle now...

But here is proud mom sleeping with puppies:

Nice looking pups!! How big are the parents? My husband wants a boxer, we looked at one litter but the parents were HUGE!! He wanted something more medium in size. These were seriously huge for a boxer. Of course, you are many states away! lol Do you show the parents? Little Diamond does look like a flashy girl!! I used to show years ago, but I am too busy with my kids now. Now I teach them to show! My daughter finished her dobe herself, now if I can just get her to take my little boston boy out.

They are beautiful!! We have a four month old boxer puppy who already weights over 50 pounds! We look at his paws every day and marvel at this enormous creature. We "reserved" a puppy when we found out this lady in our twon was going to breed and had the second pick. Beau is a fawn with a black face and just enough white to make him interesting.

They are such great dogs. Even though he is already the largest of our three dogs, he is quite happy being the lowest in the "pecking order".
