In August, I got some fertilized eggs for my 7-year old broody hen to sit on. Of the six that hatched, there's one definite cockerel and two definite pullets. The other three are TBD. Lucky Goose is the only Lavender Orphington. The comb is light pink and small, but the tail is starting to get longer and curlier. Sorry the pictures aren't sharper, but hopefully they're good enough for some guesses. Maybe it's still too soon to tell for Orphingtons. I've never had any, but I've heard they mature slowly.

I believe it's a pullet because I don't see hackle feathers. It can be tricky to sex orpingtons based on one characteristic only. The color of the comb can definitely tick you.
