Actually, yes. Originally I had all my chicks in brooder boxes in a differant section of the living room and my kids decided one day that since the lovebird was having a fit she must want to be let out. I found the lovebird checking out the chicks, then she went down to them and stated preening them and cuddling them. I think since they were not even a day old yet she viewed them as a mother would her new hatchlings. Then she discovered their feeder of food and I haven't been able to get her to eat bird seed since! And she looks fat and sassy still. But she starves herself if I don't give her chick starter
