My Light Sussex six week old chicks are showing tiny splinter sized spurs . I guess that they are Roo's then ! Darn it !

Hahaha, no, ALL chickens have spurs. All chicks have tiny little nubs, too.

At that age the way to sex them is by comb size and brightness.

At that age, my Lt Sussex roo had little pink wattles, my pullet did not.
