Yeah, I stand by the original. That reddening comb is usually what you see first, especially since the other two are still pink/yellow.
Very pretty though! Can you keep a rooster?

I cannot keep a roo. Pretty bummed because I always loved that coloring and was thrilled when he started to feather out and had the black neck and tail )=

I actually took him back this weekend to their farm as I was pretty sure my Daisy has become Duke and thought it would be easier for him to reacclimate to farm life the younger he was. I was going to pick out another one that looked female to replace him and ended up with these 2 little stinkers. Hopefully at least one is a girl. The one has really fluffy feet and a pouf on her head so I think the only silkier on the farm might be her momma.

LOL. I had to give up my roo, and ended up with two hens as a replacement as well.
