Well, just came back from moving them back into their brooder and I did notice a tiny bit of red in the wattles of the red frizzle and the partridge cochin (which I was super bummed about because he/she is so gorgeous).. I am now wondering if the white silkie is a roo and is very dominant then maybe the other roos just aren't developing while he's around? Just guessing...

I've never seen anything like that in chicks...but all chicks do not mature at the same rate. My silkies were the slowest of all to mature and the cochin boys were the quickest.
 
Took a pic of the red frizzled roo this morning...he is very handsome...

He is 17 weeks old...I will try and find a tiny pic of him...I'm sure there is one around here somewhere...

Here he is at just a little over 2 weeks old...it's either him or Frieda...I can't tell

Oh yeah, judging from your pic what I have are smooth coated cochin. Too bad, I really wanted a frizzle! Maybe next year!
