Is 2 weeks too early to notice a different in sounds between a male vs female duck?
I got 2 baby pekins 2 weeks ago. And one is noticably bigger/thicker and his tail really tips up. The other smaller. Tail seems to point down more often, and is smaller.
Otherwise they look the same.
I already feel like their voices are pretty different. The smaller one being much louder . The bigger one already has a deeper raspier sounding voice. But i wasnt sure if its tooearly for that, and their voices could still change??
I only wanted 2 girls. Not really interested in a boy. But dont want to make any decisions yet if its not possible to tell this early.

I would wait until a full drake feather exposes or doesn't expose itself! It may be hard to tell if it's a drake until the feather is present or until it develops a loud quack ( if it's female).

I have two pekins and I am not sure how old they are. One is slightly bigger than the other and has more fuzz and less feathers. Both are about half feathers and half baby fuzz. I will weigh them and post their weights. The two things I am trying to find out are how old they are and if they are boys or girls. Also they both sound like very loud chicks. So when will they get there separate voices. Hoping for a boy and a girl so I can get ducklings. This breed has been bred selectively so I doubt they will go broody. But I have an incubator if that is the case. Is having 1 boy and 1 girl a problem. Sorry for so many questions. Ty.
