I had a quail egg explode in my bator

I tossed them and the rest of the turkey eggs. That sort of accident kills them all, most of the time. they weren't showing life signs anymore anyway, and it smelled very very bad. Had to bleach the crumb out of it, top to bottem, to prevent egg death in the new eggs. Got the bator clean, and warm and humid again, and slipped in 13 turkey eggs, 9 button quails, and 4 geese eggs. Got new thermometers, and calibrated them today. Can't be losing all my eggs too often. Only got the one poor turkey, UNO, who hangs out with a quail buddy now. (he would not shut up)

What have you been up to? Did you get any babies yet? Hows the writing??

Dyed my hair and ran quite a few errands once I felt a little better. Still no babies yet but I am getting another ferret this week as a rescue.

The writings still going pretty well for now.
