Oh and (i know the answer but a back up would be nice) gardner snakes ARENT poisonous and you WONT get sick from a bite, right? my grandpa says you do!![]()
Gartner snakes are not poisonous. That doesn't mean that you may not get sick. They eat bugs, insects, and reptiles, and maybe birds. They don't have clean mouths, they do have teeth. If they bite and break the skin, you could get sick from that, just like with any cut or bite. Most of the time, though, they avoid you.
Ive kept elaphe gutta (albino corn snakes) and they do bite, some of them. THey've never broke my skin, except #13 who hated me. He bit hard as often as I'd let him.
If your bit, be sure your up on tetnis shots, that is the most important thing of all.
