Me too. He's gonna be bummed not walking, but with a sore nail, he'll not want to walk anyway. I may make him a shoe/boot so he can still run in our soft grass and play fetch for some excercise.

How long did it take diamond? I'm not used to nails that split, but I've had them torn, or bent, before. Those were much more straightforward. These looks like it'll hurt big time to trim off x 2 on the same front foot.

Hi Cochin!

Buddy (the new used dog) has two split toenails (all the way to the quick) on the same front foot. Poor baby. He's limping and favoring it. He's in DH's chair right now, with just the foot (and a sock) hanging off it.

He makes me think of your rooster. Thats the only funny part!

She seemed to be able to put some weight on it and was somewhat back to normal in about a week but this could have been because she was so young at the time.
