BR experts what do you think LOL ** PICS ADDED **

2 at bottom kinda look like roos.. "hence.. Combs..." and also look like some Black sexlinks (i guess thats what they were) i got in a shipment from Ideal when i ordered some birds (they were packed for warmth) when they get older. they will be more of Goldish type color then barring (OR. some will. i had 3., one came barring., one goldish barring. last was really goldish)

(dunno if my info helps anyone, just try to tell it like i know it.. heh....)

What's going to happen to them if they aren't what you are wanting??

nothing bad will happen to them - honest - if they are both roo's I will wait to see which one is better looking as far as breeding goes - and the other roo will be added to my layer flock to give them some "protection" and a since of balance in the flock ( hope that made sense LOL ) -

so nothing bad will happen I was just really hoping I have a pair - but I have 23 brooder babies so I have no idea how many are roo's yet - I cant keep all of the roo's - so I will find them all great homes.

we have a no kill household here - so I will not be processing anything I have raised from a baby and given it a name LOL

This is an interesting thread.

My BR baby, the only one left, has dark on it's legs, white barring on it's wings, and a very well-defined head spot. Which trait on BR's is the more dominant and means more. Since mine seems to have the color traits of both sexes, I'm totally confused, of course I have been since I got into this chicken thing.
