Uuhh, define "real"

He does look pure barred, but actually looks kinda more cuckoo pattern vs barred. What color are his legs, and do they have feathers?

He's likely a hatchery barred rock rooster, if he has clean yellow legs.

Is he heritage bred? No. Would he make a nice backyard rooster? Probably.
