I ordered the mixed breed five bantam pullet special from Cackle; they are about 3 weeks old. I also have three big barred rocks about the same age from McMurray. Of the bantams, we have two barred cochins, one partridge (or golden laced) cochin, and from what I can tell, one brahma, either a light or dark (Cackle gives only the choice of buff bantam, but this one is not like any buff I have seen!).
So here's the deal -- the brahma is sure acting like a rooster. Slow to feather is an understatement -- this bird is all fuzz and the tiniest of wing feathers at three weeks. It looks like a body builder. We were calling her Beyonce because of her legginess and show-offness, but we may have to call her Jay-Z. Can you tell if she is a roo? I ordered a pullet!
Here she/he is - can you confirm this is a brahma and what coloration? And cockrel or pullet?:

And Beyonce with Cochise (barred cochin bantam). Note the difference in feathering:

And a photo of Beyonce with one of the barred rocks:

Here's one of the barred rocks named Stripes who is slow to feather as well -- I'm kind of worried this is a rooster too, but it may be too early to tell? The other two barred rocks have lots of feathers. This one has one white feather in her wing and no tail feathers and short wing feathers. Big bird too.

And this is a photo of Muffin. She is either partridge cochin (bantam) or golden laced. Any guesses? She is so sweet!:

Thanks for any guesses!
