Hello!
I took in 6 chicks last sping and ended up with 5 roos. Had a pretty quiet winter and now the boys are feeling spring coming and harassing and stressing the girls so they have got to go. I'd prefer they go to pet homes, however fact is, they have to go so I'm not averted to you wanting them for meat provided you process them humanely, which I belve most on here do. I don't have the heart/stomach to do them in myself. They are healthy, mid-size birds, are free-range and fed layer crumbles and scratch grains. my avatar is a pic of one of them from this past winter. He is the darkest of the four with the others having much more green and tan coloring. They are beautiful birds. Just have too many roos.
