Hello friends!
I am located in Australia and I am a Brahma breeder - I have connected with multiple breeders overseas who have amazing colours and Australia is very limited with the colours variations available to us.

I seek to change that.

I am hoping to open a discussion on tips for breeding different colours from other breeders overseas who may have these colours OR seeking anyone based in Australia who would like to collaborate to achieve this goal without sacrificing the standard of perfection.

Naturally, these Brahma's will not be classed as "Show Quality" as they will be project category - but I am sure that this will evolve and change as the Brahma variations grow across Australia.

If you are interested or having any helpful information, tips, resources - Please reach out

Have a fantastic clucking day

What varieties are available there?
We mainly have Light, Blue, Blue Dark, Black, All of the Partridge varieties, BSO, DSO, SSO, Buff Colombian and Light Colombian. We have some breeders with Salmon and others working on other combinations.

Black, Buff Colombian, Salmon, BSO, SSO and DSO are considered rare here in Australia.

But colours like Mottled, Speckled, Porcelin, Blue Salmon, Furnace, the Laced varieties... are missing or extremely limited.

And I'm like a 90's Pokemon Trainer and now I've caught one Brahma, I really want to catch them all.

Hi we have three birds that we found abandoned and have had trouble working out the breed and sex, seems the general consensus now is they are light Brahmas but still not sure as were initially told they were Light Sussex but someone told us the fluffy feet is more likely Brahma.
